Dr. Mostaghimi is an assistant professor of dermatology, director of the inpatient dermatology consult service and co-director of the Complex Medical Dermatology Fellowship at Brigham & Women’s Hospital.

His research focuses on understanding variations in dermatologic care and improving care delivery to optimize resource utilization, encourage patient autonomy and reduce disparities. 

His specific interests include understanding the interface between dermatology and other medical specialties, determining best practices for the treatment of orphan dermatologic conditions and characterizing dermatologic practice patterns, utilization and costs.
